Getting There

  • Public Transport

    From the town of Crested Butte, the Mountain Express provides free bus service to the Crested Butte Mountain Resort base area. The main transit hubs are located at the Old Town Hall and the 4-Way Stop in town. The bus runs frequently, with service every 15-40 minutes depending on the season. This eliminates the need to drive and park at the resort. The Gunnison Valley RTA also provides free bus transportation throughout Gunnison, Almont, Crested Butte South, Crested Butte, and Mt. Crested Butte.

  • Driving

    Crested Butte Mountain Resort is located at 12 Snowmass Rd, Mt. Crested Butte, CO 81225. From the town of Crested Butte, head north on CO-135, then turn onto Snowmass Road. Several parking lots are available in Mt. Crested Butte near the base area of the ski resort. Paid parking is available at the Main Lot, located at 32 Emmons Road, from 7 AM to 3 PM, November 23rd to April 7th. Off-peak rates (Monday-Thursday) are $15, and on-peak rates (Friday-Sunday & holidays) are $20. Overnight parking is not permitted.
