Walking
From downtown Gunnison, Jorgensen Park is easily accessible on foot. Head east on Tomichi Avenue. The park will be on your right, a few blocks from Main Street. The walk is generally flat and takes about 10-15 minutes. No costs are associated with walking.
Public Transport
The Gunnison Valley RTA (Rural Transportation Authority) offers free bus service throughout Gunnison. Several stops are located near Jorgensen Park. Check the RTA schedule and Transit App for real-time updates and the closest stop to your location. The bus is a convenient and cost-effective way to reach the park from various points in Gunnison. There is no cost to ride the RTA bus.
Driving
If driving from downtown Gunnison, head east on Tomichi Avenue. Jorgensen Park will be on the right. On-street parking is available next to the park. Parking is free. From the Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport, take Rio Grande Avenue to South Boulevard Street, then turn right onto West Tomichi Avenue (US 50). The park will be a short drive east.
