Walking
From the Gunnison Visitor Center at 500 E Tomichi Ave, head east on Tomichi Avenue for approximately 0.3 miles. The Gunnison Pioneer Museum will be on your left at 803 E Tomichi Ave. The walk is generally flat and takes about 5-10 minutes. There are sidewalks along Tomichi Avenue. No costs are associated with walking.

Public Transport
The Gunnison Valley RTA (Rural Transportation Authority) offers free bus service within Gunnison. Check the RTA website or Transit app for the most up-to-date route information and schedules. Several stops are located along Tomichi Avenue. Get off at the closest stop to 803 E Tomichi Ave. From there, it is a short walk to the museum. There is no cost to ride the RTA bus.

From downtown Gunnison, head east on Tomichi Avenue/US-50. The Gunnison Pioneer Museum is located at 803 E Tomichi Ave, on the left side of the road. Parking is available on-site. Parking is free. Driving is straightforward, but be mindful of local traffic. In winter, check road conditions.
