Walking
From downtown Montrose, start at the intersection of Main Street and East Oak Grove Street. Head west on East Oak Grove Street until you reach South 1st Street. Turn left onto South 1st Street and continue south until you reach East Miami Road. Turn right onto East Miami Road and follow it until you see the signs for the Pulpit Rock Overlook Trail. This walk is approximately 1.5 miles and should take around 30 minutes.
Biking
If you have access to a bike, start from the Montrose Community Recreation Center on East Main Street. Head east on East Main Street and take a right onto South 1st Street. Continue south until you reach East Miami Road. Turn right and follow East Miami Road, which will lead you to the trailhead for Pulpit Rock Overlook. This biking route is about 1.2 miles and should take about 10-15 minutes.
