Brandy Duvall Memorial Cross: A Tribute to Love and Loss

Getting There

• Walking

  Start at the Monument Town Hall located at 645 Beacon Lite Rd. From the Town Hall, head north on Beacon Lite Rd towards the intersection with the I-25 Frontage Rd. Cross over to the west side of the road and continue walking north along the I-25 Frontage Rd. After about 0.5 miles, turn left onto the Monument Preserve Trail. Follow the trail until you reach the marker for the Brandy Duvall memorial cross, which is located at a scenic overlook. The total distance is approximately 1.5 miles and should take about 30-40 minutes.

  If you have access to a bicycle, begin at the Monument Town Hall at 645 Beacon Lite Rd. Head north on Beacon Lite Rd until you reach the I-25 Frontage Rd. Turn left and follow the I-25 Frontage Rd for about 0.5 miles. Next, turn left onto the Monument Preserve Trail and follow it. The biking path is well maintained and will lead you directly to the Brandy Duvall memorial cross. The ride will take around 15-20 minutes, covering a distance of approximately 1.5 miles.

  To reach the Brandy Duvall memorial cross using public transport, start at the Monument Town Hall.
