Getting There

• Public Bus

  From Monument, walk to the nearest bus stop on Highway 105. Take the Mountain Metro Transit Route 1 towards Colorado Springs. Get off at the 'Manitou Springs' stop. From there, transfer to the Route 33 bus towards Manitou Springs and get off at the 'Manitou Cliff Dwellings' stop. The dwellings are a short walk from the bus stop, located at 10 Cliff Rd, Manitou Springs, CO 80829.

• Bicycle

  Start by cycling south on Highway 105 towards Colorado Springs. Continue on this route until you reach the intersection with US-24 W. Turn left onto US-24 W and follow the signs for Manitou Springs. Once in Manitou Springs, take a right onto Cliff Rd. The Manitou Cliff Dwellings will be on your left at 10 Cliff Rd. Please ensure you have a bike lock as there are bike racks available.

• Walking

  Begin your walk by heading south on Highway 105. Walk towards the main road intersection at US-24 W. Follow Highway 105 until you reach the roundabout, and take the exit onto US-24 W towards Manitou Springs. Continue walking along US-24 W until you reach Manitou Springs. At the first major intersection, turn right onto Cliff Rd, and follow it until you reach the Manitou Cliff Dwellings located at 10 Cliff Rd. This is approximately a 5-mile walk, so be prepared for a longer journey.
