Getting There

Walking
Starting from the center of Monument, head east on Beacon Lite Road. Continue for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Woodmoor Drive. Turn left onto Woodmoor Drive and follow it as it winds through the Woodmoor community. After about 1 mile, you will see a sign for Monument Hill on your right, near the entrance of the Monument Hill Park. Follow the path into the park.

From downtown Monument, take Second Street heading east until you reach the intersection with Beacon Lite Road. Turn right onto Beacon Lite Road and bike for approximately 0.5 miles. At the intersection with Woodmoor Drive, turn left. Continue biking for about 1 mile, and you'll find Monument Hill Park on your right. Follow the bike paths within the park to reach the summit.

If available, use the local bus service. Look for the nearest bus stop in downtown Monument and check the schedule for routes heading towards Woodmoor.
