Walking
Start from Monument Town Hall located at 645 Beacon Lite Rd, Monument, CO 80132. Head south on Beacon Lite Rd towards the intersection with Highway 105. Once you reach Highway 105, turn left (east) and walk towards the intersection with I-25. Continue straight until you reach the I-25 overpass. Cross under the overpass and follow the signs for the Monument Trail. This trail will lead you to the northern entrance of the town, where you will find a bus stop.
Public Transportation
From the Monument Town Hall, take the local bus (check the schedule for route details) heading towards Colorado Springs. Ride the bus until you reach the nearest stop to I-25. This stop is usually located near the intersection of Highway 105 and I-25 Frontage Rd. After disembarking, you will need to walk south along the I-25 Frontage Rd for approximately 1.5 miles. Keep an eye out for signage towards Natural Fort, which is located in Carr, CO.
Biking
If you're biking, start from the Monument Town Hall and take the same route as walking. However, instead of going under the I-25 overpass, take the bike trail that runs parallel to the highway. This will lead you to the I-25 Frontage Rd. Once you reach the Frontage Rd, bike south for approximately 1.5 miles until you arrive at Natural Fort. The biking trail is scenic and safe for cyclists.
