Getting There

Walking
Start at the center of Monument, near the Monument Town Hall. Head south on Washington Street toward 2nd Street. Continue straight as Washington Street turns into Baptist Road. Walk for about 1.5 miles until you reach I-25. Cross under the highway using the pedestrian bridge. Once you are on the other side, continue walking south on the bike path. After approximately 1 mile, you will reach the intersection of 31st Street and Gateway Road. Turn left onto Gateway Road and walk until you see the entrance to Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site on your right.

Biking
Begin at the Monument Town Hall. Take Washington Street south and turn onto Baptist Road. Follow Baptist Road for about 1.5 miles until you reach I-25. Use the pedestrian bridge to cross under the highway. After crossing, follow the bike path south for about 1 mile. At the intersection with 31st Street, turn left onto Gateway Road. Continue on Gateway Road, and you will find Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site on your right after a short distance.

From the center of Monument, walk to the nearest bus stop at the Monument Park and Ride located at 3rd Street and Beacon Lite Road. Take the bus route that heads towards Colorado Springs. Ask the driver for the stop nearest to Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site or check the transit schedule for the closest stop. Once you arrive in Colorado Springs, walk to Gateway Road and follow it to the entrance of Rock Ledge Ranch, which is about a 10-minute walk.
