Driving
The Georgetown Loop Railroad is located near Interstate 70. Take Exit 228 for the Devil's Gate Station in Georgetown or Exit 226 for the Silver Plume Depot. Parking is free at both locations. Be aware that parking may be limited, especially during peak season. From Denver, the drive is approximately 45 miles west on I-70. From Frisco, the drive is about 28 miles east on I-70. There are no tolls on I-70 between Denver and Georgetown or Frisco and Georgetown.

Public Transport
From Denver, you can take the Bustang West Line bus to Idaho Springs. From Idaho Springs, transfer to the Clear Creek County Roundabout bus, which is free, to reach Georgetown or Silver Plume. The Roundabout operates Monday through Saturday. The Bustang from Denver to Idaho Springs costs approximately $6-$50. The Clear Creek County Roundabout is free.
