    From the center of Ouray, head south on Main Street towards 6th Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with 6th Avenue. Turn left onto 6th Avenue and walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach the junction with Highway 550. Cross the highway carefully at the pedestrian crossing. After crossing, continue straight onto County Road 1, which will lead you toward Ridgway. Keep walking straight for about 4 miles until you reach Ridgway. Once in Ridgway, turn left onto Sherman Street. The Ouray County Ranch History Museum will be located on your right at 321 Sherman St.

    From the center of Ouray, rent a bike from a local shop if you don't have one. Start on Main Street heading south towards 6th Avenue. Turn left onto 6th Avenue and bike straight for about 0.5 miles until you hit the intersection with Highway 550. Carefully cross the highway via the pedestrian crossing.
