Car
If you're driving to the Manitou Incline, start by heading towards Cascade, Colorado. From Pikes Peak, take US-24 E towards Manitou Springs. Continue on US-24 E for about 10 miles until you reach the exit for Manitou Springs. Once you exit, turn right onto Manitou Avenue and continue for about 1.5 miles. Look for the Manitou Incline parking area on your left. Note that parking can fill up quickly, especially on weekends, and there may be a parking fee.
Public Transportation
To reach the Manitou Incline via public transportation, take the Mountain Metro Transit bus Route 3 from Colorado Springs to Manitou Springs. The bus will drop you off along Manitou Avenue. From there, it's about a 15-20 minute walk to the Manitou Incline. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance for the latest timings, as services may vary. A one-way bus fare is typically around $1.75.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of the Manitou Incline, you can park at the nearby Manitou Springs area and walk to the trailhead. From downtown Manitou Springs, head north on Manitou Avenue for about 0.6 miles. When you reach the intersection with Ruxton Avenue, turn left, and continue walking until you see the entrance to the Manitou Incline on your right. This route is a pleasant walk and offers views of the surrounding area.
