Getting There

  • Walking

    From the intersection of Maizeland Road and N Academy Blvd, head west on Maizeland Road for approximately 0.25 miles until you reach Paseo Road. Turn left onto Paseo Road, and you will find entrances to Palmer Park on your right. There is no fee to enter the park.

  • Public Transport

    The Mountain Metro Transit Route 12 serves Palmer Park. From various points in Colorado Springs, take Route 12 to the Palmer Park/Space Center stop. From there, you can walk or bike into the park. As of July 2025, a single ride costs $1.75. Please note that bus fares are free between June 1 and August 31, 2025.

  • Parking

    Palmer Park offers multiple free parking lots at various trailheads throughout the park. Parking is free. During peak times, parking lots can fill up, especially on weekends. Consider arriving early or carpooling.
