Getting There

• Car

  From Pikes Peak, head south on CO-67 S toward Woodland Park. Merge onto US-24 W and continue for approximately 20 miles. Take the exit for US-50 W toward Cañon City. Continue on US-50 W for about 35 miles. As you approach Cañon City, take the exit for CO-115 S. Continue on CO-115 S, then turn left onto Co Rd 3A. Follow Co Rd 3A for about 2 miles until you reach Royal Gorge Bridge & Park, located at 4218 Co Rd 3A, Cañon City, CO 81212. Note that there is an entrance fee to access the park.

• Public Transportation

  If using public transportation, take a bus from Colorado Springs to Cañon City. You will need to check the current schedule for the 'Bustang' service which connects Colorado Springs to Cañon City. Once you arrive at the Cañon City bus station, you can take a local taxi or rideshare service to Royal Gorge Bridge & Park for the final leg of your journey. Be sure to confirm the cost of the taxi or rideshare as this can vary.

• Bicycle

  For adventurous travelers, biking to Royal Gorge Bridge & Park is an option. From Pikes Peak, follow the same route by taking CO-67 S to US-24 W, then US-50 W toward Cañon City. This route is approximately 55 miles and can be challenging, so ensure you are prepared for the ride. Once you arrive in Cañon City, you will need to navigate to Co Rd 3A to reach the park. Remember to wear a helmet and bring plenty of water.
