If you're driving to Pikes Peak Summit House, take U.S. Highway 24 West from Colorado Springs. Follow the signs for Pikes Peak Highway, which is located just outside of Cascade. The entrance to Pikes Peak Highway is at the intersection of U.S. Highway 24 and Pikes Peak Highway. Note that there is an entrance fee of $15 per vehicle. Continue on Pikes Peak Highway for about 19 miles to reach the summit. The drive offers scenic views, but be aware of the altitude and potential weather changes as you approach the summit.

Public transportation options are limited directly to Pikes Peak, but you can take the Mountain Metro Transit Route 9 from downtown Colorado Springs to the Manitou Springs area.
