The Buell Children's Museum, located within the Sangre de Cristo Arts and Conference Center in Pueblo, Colorado, is a vibrant and engaging space where children can explore the worlds of art, science, and history through hands-on exhibits. Even the youngest visitors have a dedicated space at the Buell Baby Barn, designed for children under four with barnyard-themed activities.The Sangre de Cristo Arts & Conference Center first opened in 1972, with the Buell Children's Museum opening in 2000. The museum is named in honor of the late Temple Hoyne Buell, a Denver architect and philanthropist, whose foundation contributed to the project. The museum has received several awards, including recognition as the number two arts-related children's museum in the country by Child Magazine in 2002.
