Getting There

  • Walking

    From the intersection of Elkhorn Avenue and Moraine Avenue in downtown Estes Park, walk east on Elkhorn Avenue. The Estes Park Visitor Center is approximately a 15-20 minute walk. Continue past Bond Park and the Estes Park Town Hall. Turn right onto Big Thompson Avenue. The Visitor Center will be on your right at 500 Big Thompson Avenue. There are no fees for walking.

  • Public Transport

    Take the free Town of Estes Park shuttle to the Estes Park Visitor Center. Several shuttle routes connect at the Visitor Center, making it easily accessible from various points in town. Check the Estes Park website for the most up-to-date shuttle schedules and routes. The shuttle is free.

  • Driving

    From downtown Estes Park, head east on Elkhorn Avenue, which turns into Big Thompson Avenue. Continue on Big Thompson Avenue to 500 Big Thompson Avenue. The Visitor Center will be on your right. Parking is available at the Visitor Center. From May 23 through October 19, parking in nearby public parking areas costs $2 per hour between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Parking is free outside these hours and during the off-season. Free parking is available at the Estes Park Riverwalk Parking Garage at 691 N. St. Vrain Ave, and you can take the free shuttle to the Visitor Center.
