  If you are starting from downtown Salida, head east on E 1st St toward G St. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with US-50. At this intersection, turn right to head south onto US-50. Continue walking along the sidewalk for approximately 1.5 miles. You will notice the American Classic Motor Inn on your left at 7545 US-50. Look for the distinctive signage and the entrance to the motel.

  From downtown Salida, locate the bike path that runs along the Arkansas River. Follow the bike path east until you reach the intersection with US-50. Once you reach US-50, turn right and bike south for approximately 1.5 miles. The American Classic Motor Inn will be on your left at 7545 US-50. Be cautious as you approach the motel due to vehicle traffic.

  If you are utilizing public transit, check the local bus schedule for service to the US-50 route. Board the bus that heads south towards the area near the American Classic Motor Inn. Once you arrive at the nearest stop to 7545 US-50, disembark and walk along the sidewalk for a short distance (about 0.1 miles) until you reach the motel on your left.
