Parking is free.

    From downtown Ouray, walking to the Bachelor Syracuse Mine is a challenging but rewarding trek of approximately 3.5 miles. Head north on Main Street (US-550), then turn onto 8th Avenue. Continue onto County Road 361/Gold Mountain Trail. Follow Gold Mountain Trail for about 2 miles to reach the mine. Be prepared for a steep incline as you ascend towards the mine. There are no public transport options.
