Discover more about UFO Watchtower

The UFO Watchtower, located in Center, Colorado, provides a quirky and unique experience for those interested in the possibility of extraterrestrial life. Founded in May 2000 by cattle rancher Judy Messoline, the Watchtower has become a roadside attraction where visitors can gather to watch the skies, explore alleged vortexes, and leave offerings in the healing garden. The main feature is a 10-foot-high observation platform that provides a 360-degree view of the San Luis Valley. The valley itself is known for frequent UFO sightings and a general sense of otherworldly phenomena. Visitors can document their own sightings in the guestbook, joining a long list of observers from around the world. Below the platform lies a rock garden where visitors leave a wide array of objects, from personal mementos to everyday items, as offerings to the vortexes said to be located on the property. These vortexes, according to psychics, are portals to parallel universes, guarded by paranormal beings. The site also features a gift shop shaped like a spaceship, selling alien-themed merchandise. Camping is permitted on the property, allowing visitors to spend the night under the dark skies. The UFO Watchtower provides a safe and accepting environment for individuals to share their experiences and beliefs about extraterrestrial encounters. Judy Messoline welcomes all visitors, creating a space where curiosity and open-mindedness are encouraged.
