Getting There

  • Driving

    From Colorado Springs, follow I-25 N to Uintah Street, then take Exit 143. Turn right onto Mesa Road and continue to Garden of the Gods. Once inside the park, follow Juniper Way Loop to the main parking area. The Kissing Camels are visible to the left. Parking is free, but the main lot fills quickly during peak season. An overflow lot is available across from the Visitor Center, with a free shuttle service.

    From downtown Colorado Springs, take the Mountain Metropolitan Transit Line 3 bus towards Manitou Springs. The bus stops at Manitou/Beckers, a short distance from the Garden of the Gods. From there, you can walk or take a taxi/rideshare to the park's main entrance. A one-way bus fare is $2. Taxi/rideshare from the bus stop to the park entrance will cost approximately $10-$15.

  • Walking

    From the Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center, cross 30th Street onto Gateway Road and head west into the park. Turn right onto Juniper Way Loop. The main parking area is on the left. From there, the Kissing Camels are a short walk along the Perkins Central Garden Trail. This walk is paved and easily accessible.
