Car
From Durango, take US-550 North towards Ouray. After about 30 miles, take the exit onto CO-172 towards Ignacio. Continue on CO-172 for about 15 miles, then merge onto US-160 West. After approximately 8 miles, turn left onto CO-151 toward Pagosa Springs. Follow CO-151 for about 18 miles, and you will see the entrance to Chimney Rock National Monument on your left at 3179 CO-151, Chimney Rock, CO 81121. Note that there is an entrance fee of $12 per vehicle.

Public Transportation + Taxi/Ride Share
If you are traveling from Durango, take the San Juan Regional Transit bus (Route 9) to Ignacio. From Ignacio, you will need to arrange for a taxi or ride-share service to take you to Chimney Rock National Monument. The taxi ride is approximately 30 minutes and may cost around $30-$50, depending on the service you use.

If you are coming from Pagosa Springs, head north on US-160 for about 17 miles. Turn right onto CO-151 and continue on this road for about 7 miles until you reach Chimney Rock National Monument at 3179 CO-151, Chimney Rock, CO 81121. The entrance fee is $12 per vehicle.
