    The Steamboat Art Museum is located at 801 Lincoln Ave in downtown Steamboat Springs. From most points in the downtown area, the museum is easily accessible on foot. Walking west on Lincoln Avenue, the museum is located on the right side of the street, at the corner of 8th Street and Lincoln Avenue. There are sidewalks along both sides of the street. No costs are associated with walking.

    Steamboat Springs offers a free public bus service, Steamboat Springs Transit (SST), with several routes serving the downtown area. Check the SST schedule for the most convenient route and stop. Alight at a stop along Lincoln Avenue in the downtown core. From there, the museum is a short walk away. The SST is free to use.
