Crystal Peak: A Rocky Mountain Gem

Crystal Peak, a prominent summit in Colorado's Tenmile Range, stands as a testament to the state's stunning natural beauty. The standard route to the summit begins at the Spruce Creek Trailhead near Breckenridge. The initial ascent follows a 4x4 road, passing through dense forests and alongside cascading waterfalls. As hikers gain elevation, the landscape transitions to open alpine terrain, offering breathtaking vistas of the surrounding Tenmile Range. Near Lower Crystal Lake, the trail narrows and steepens, leading to the Crystal-Peak 10 saddle.
