Peak 10, soaring to 13,640 feet, is a prominent summit in Colorado's Tenmile Range, southwest of Breckenridge. Popular for its accessibility and stunning panoramic views, it offers a challenging yet rewarding hike. The peak is the southernmost of the five mountains that form the Breckenridge Ski Resort.

Driving
From Breckenridge, drive south on CO-9. Turn left onto Village Road. Continue to the Beaver Run/Base Nine area. Park in the large parking lot. Forest Road 751 begins on the south side of the lot. Depending on your vehicle, you can either park here and begin hiking, or drive further up FR 751. A 4WD vehicle with good clearance can make it to around 12,400 feet. Passenger vehicles with above-average clearance can drive to the Peak 9 restaurant at 11,250 feet. Parking costs vary depending on the lot and time of year.
Public Transport
Take the Breckenridge Free Ride to the Breckenridge Transit Center. From there, transfer to a route that services the base of Peak 9. From the bus stop, follow Village Road to the Beaver Run/Base Nine area and parking lot. Forest Road 751 begins on the south side of the lot. From here, begin hiking towards Peak 10. The Breckenridge Free Ride is free to use.
