Loveland Ski Area is located directly off I-70 at Exit 216, about 53 miles west of Denver. From Denver, take I-70 west to Exit 216. The exit will lead you directly to the Loveland Valley and Basin parking areas. Parking is free. Be aware that I-70 can experience heavy traffic, especially on weekends, so plan accordingly.

Public Transport
From Denver, several public transportation options can get you close to Loveland Ski Area. CDOT's Bustang offers a route from Denver Union Station to Frisco, from which you would need to take a taxi or rideshare to the ski area. Snowstang, a seasonal bus service, provides direct transportation from Denver Union Station, Federal Center Station, and Wooly Mammoth Park & Ride to Loveland Ski Area. A round-trip ticket on Snowstang costs $25. The Front Range Ski Bus also offers transportation to Loveland Ski Area, with discount tickets available to passengers.
