Walking
Vail Village is designed to be pedestrian-friendly, with most attractions, shops, and restaurants within easy walking distance. From anywhere in the central village area, navigate via the heated cobblestone walkways, keeping an eye out for landmarks like the Covered Bridge and the Solaris Plaza for orientation.
Public Transport
Vail offers a free bus system that connects Vail Village with other areas like Lionshead, East Vail, and West Vail. From the Vail Transportation Center, located on the top level of the Vail Village parking structure, take the in-town bus to reach various destinations within the village. The bus service is free and operates frequently throughout the day.
Parking
If arriving by car, parking is available in the Vail Village parking structure. The cost is $2 per hour, with the first hour free, and a maximum of $10 per day. Parking is free after 3 p.m. until 4 a.m. Overnight parking costs $60. From the parking structure, elevators and stairs provide easy access to the heart of Vail Village.
