If you're traveling by car, start by heading south on US-50 from Montrose, CO. Continue for about 45 miles until you reach the junction with US-550. Take the exit for US-550 south toward Durango. After approximately 30 miles, you will reach the town of Durango. From Durango, take US-160 west for about 30 miles until you reach the entrance to Mesa Verde National Park. Once you enter the park, follow the signs for State Hwy 10, which will lead you directly to Megalithic House. Note that there is an entrance fee for the park, which is approximately $25 per vehicle.
Public Transportation
Traveling by public transportation, you can take a Greyhound bus from various locations within Colorado to Durango, CO. Once in Durango, you will need to take a local taxi or rideshare service to reach Mesa Verde National Park. The taxi ride will take about 30 minutes and may cost around $40-$50. Upon entering the park, follow the signs for State Hwy 10 to reach the Megalithic House.
