The main entrance to the Black Canyon of the Gunnison Wilderness is located at the end of the South Rim Drive. It is approximately 7 miles from the entrance of the national park to the parking area near the Wilderness. Be sure to check the park's maps for specific trailheads. Note that there is a $30 vehicle entrance fee to the park, valid for 7 days.
