Getting There

    If you are already in Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, head towards the South Rim Drive. Follow the signs for the 'South Rim' and continue along the scenic route. The main entrance to the Black Canyon of the Gunnison Wilderness is located at the end of the South Rim Drive. It is approximately 7 miles from the entrance of the national park to the parking area near the Wilderness. Be sure to check the park's maps for specific trailheads. Note that there is a $30 vehicle entrance fee to the park, valid for 7 days.
