Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Bridgeport train station, exit the station and head south on Water Street. Continue straight until you reach Main Street, then turn left onto Main Street. Walk down Main Street until you reach the intersection with Seaview Avenue. Turn right onto Seaview Avenue and continue walking until you reach the waterfront. The P.T. Barnum Statue is located at Seaside Park, which is just a short walk from Seaview Avenue.

• Public Transit

  From the Bridgeport train station, you can take the 10 bus towards the South End. Board the bus and ride for about 10 minutes until you reach the stop at Park Avenue and Seaview Avenue. Get off the bus and walk east on Seaview Avenue until you reach Seaside Park. The P.T. Barnum Statue is located within the park, overlooking the Long Island Sound.

• Biking

  If you have access to a bike, you can start at the Bridgeport train station and head south on Water Street. Then, follow the same route as if you were walking: turn left onto Main Street, then right onto Seaview Avenue. The ride to Seaside Park is approximately 1.5 miles and should take around 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive at Seaside Park, follow the paths leading to the waterfront to find the P.T. Barnum Statue.
