If you are starting from the Bridgeport train station, exit the station and head southeast on State Street. Continue straight for about 0.3 miles until you reach Main Street. Turn right onto Main Street and walk for another 0.2 miles. At the intersection with East Washington Avenue, turn left. Continue walking straight until you reach Monument Drive. Soldiers Monument will be located on your right at the end of Monument Drive.

From the Bridgeport train station, walk to the nearest bus stop at State Street and the bus terminal. Take the Greater Bridgeport Transit bus route 3 or 4 heading towards the South End. Get off at the stop on East Washington Avenue and Main Street. From there, walk down East Washington Avenue until you reach Monument Drive. Soldiers Monument will be on your right.

If you are in Downtown Bridgeport, start at the intersection of Main Street and State Street. Head south on Main Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach East Washington Avenue.
