Take exit 7 for CT-39 S toward New Fairfield. At the end of the exit ramp, turn left onto CT-39 S. After about 1.5 miles, turn right onto Short Woods Rd. Continue to follow Short Woods Rd for about 0.5 miles, and you will find Squantz Pond State Park on your left.
