Tarrywile Mansion, nestled within Tarrywile Park in Danbury, CT, is a beautifully preserved Victorian mansion built in 1897. Once the home of Dr. William C. Wile and later Charles D. Parks, the mansion now serves as a community center and event venue, surrounded by gardens and over 20 miles of hiking trails.

Driving
Tarrywile Mansion is located at 70 Southern Blvd, Danbury, CT 06810. From I-84, take Exit 3 (Route 7 south – Danbury Airport). Take the 2nd right for Danbury Airport. At the light at the end of the ramp, turn left onto Sugar Hollow Road. At the next light, turn left onto Wooster Heights. Go straight for 0.9 miles and turn right onto Southern Blvd. Go 0.6 miles; Southern Blvd will make a sharp right turn. The Tarrywile Mansion entrance is 100 yards on the right. Parking is available immediately to your right, and for Mansion events, parking is up the driveway behind the Mansion. There is no fee for parking.
Public Transport
Danbury has limited public transportation options. From the Danbury Metro-North train station, a taxi or ride-sharing service (Uber/Lyft) is the most practical option to reach Tarrywile Mansion. The ride is approximately 3 miles and should cost around $12-$18. Check the local bus schedules for any potential routes that may drop you closer to Southern Boulevard, which would reduce the taxi fare.
