Getting There

• Public Bus

  If you are in Downtown Danbury, head to the Danbury Transit Center located at 1 Patriot Drive. From there, take the Housatonic Area Regional Transit (HART) bus Route 5 towards Danbury Fair Mall. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes and get off at the stop near the intersection of College Street and Elm Street. From the bus stop, walk south along College Street for about 5 minutes until you reach The Owl Shop at 268 College St, New Haven, CT 06510.

• Train

  Make your way to the Danbury Train Station located at 1 Railroad Place. Board the Metro-North New Haven Line train heading towards New Haven. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at New Haven Union Station, exit the station and walk to the nearby bus terminal. Take the local bus (HART Route 1) towards Downtown New Haven and get off at the stop at College Street. Walk south on College Street for a short distance of about 2 minutes to reach The Owl Shop at 268 College St, New Haven, CT 06510.

• Walking

  If you find yourself in the Danbury Library area, you can walk to the Danbury Transit Center at 1 Patriot Drive. From there, take HART Route 5 to New Haven as described above. However, if you prefer to walk, it is also feasible to walk to The Owl Shop from certain downtown locations. For example, from the Danbury Museum and Historical Society, you could walk to the Danbury Transit Center, then take the bus as detailed above. Note that this walk may take about 20-30 minutes before you board the bus.
