Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, begin by heading towards I-95 from your current location in New Haven County. Take I-95 South and exit at Exit 50 for Long Wharf Drive. Follow Long Wharf Drive until you reach the intersection with South Water Street, then turn right onto South Water Street. Continue straight, which will become Lighthouse Road. Follow Lighthouse Road for approximately 1.5 miles until you arrive at Lighthouse Point Park, located at 2 Lighthouse Rd, New Haven, CT 06512. Parking is available at the park, and there may be a small fee for parking, so be prepared with cash or a credit card.

  To reach Lighthouse Point Park using public transportation from downtown New Haven, you can take the CT Transit bus # 208, which departs from the New Haven Green. Board the bus heading towards Lighthouse Point Park. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance as service may be limited on weekends or holidays. You can follow the bike path along Long Wharf and then take South Water Street to Lighthouse Road. The total distance is about 3 miles, making it a pleasant ride.
