Continue on I-95 S for approximately 15 miles. Take exit 40 for US-1 S towards Milford. Merge onto US-1 S and continue for about 1.5 miles. Turn left onto Silver Sands Parkway, and you will arrive at Silver Sands State Park. There is no parking fee for Connecticut residents.

Take the Metro-North Railroad from New Haven Union Station to Milford Station. The train ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Milford Station, you can take a taxi or rideshare service to Silver Sands State Park, which is approximately 3 miles away. Public Transportation (Bus)

From New Haven, you can take the CT Transit bus #228 towards Milford. The bus ride will take about 40 minutes. Get off at the stop nearest to Silver Sands Parkway. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the park entrance. The bus fare is approximately $1.75.
