If you are driving to Lighthouse Point Park, begin by getting onto I-95 S from your current location in Greater New Haven. Follow I-95 S for approximately 4 miles. Take exit 50 for Route 1 toward West Haven/New Haven. Merge onto Route 1 (also known as S. Main Street). Continue on Route 1 for about 2 miles and then turn right onto Lighthouse Road. The park entrance will be on your left at 2 Lighthouse Rd, New Haven, CT 06512. Please note that there is a parking fee of around $15 during the summer months.

To reach Lighthouse Point Park using public transportation, start by taking the CT Transit bus number 208 from the New Haven Green. The bus should be heading towards East Haven. Ride for about 30 minutes, getting off at the stop near Lighthouse Road. From the bus stop, you will need to walk approximately 15 minutes along Lighthouse Road to reach the park entrance at 2 Lighthouse Rd, New Haven, CT 06512. Please check the CT Transit website for current schedules and fares, as a one-way fare is usually around $1.75.
