Public Transport
From Midtown Manhattan, take the M23 bus westbound. It stops directly in front of Chelsea Piers. Alternatively, take the A, C, or E subway lines to 23rd Street and 8th Avenue, then walk west to Chelsea Piers. A single subway or bus fare is $2.75.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis and ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft can drop you off directly at Chelsea Piers. There is a designated pick-up and drop-off area. A taxi from Times Square to Chelsea Piers typically costs $20-$25, depending on traffic. Be aware that there may be a surcharge during peak hours.
Walking
If you are in the Chelsea area or the Meatpacking District, walking to Chelsea Piers is a pleasant option via the Hudson River Park walkway. Crosswalks at 22nd, 20th, and 18th Streets provide safe passage across the West Side Highway. From the High Line, exit at 23rd Street and walk west.
Parking
On-site parking is available at Chelsea Piers, but it can be limited and expensive. The entrance to the parking lots is at West 24th Street. Hourly rates range from $8 for 2 hours. Alternatively, several parking garages are located near Chelsea Piers, with rates starting around $26 for 2 hours.
