Driving
Tallman Mountain State Park is accessible via Route 9W. From the Palisades Parkway, take Exit 4 and head north on Route 9W. The main entrance is 1.3 miles north of the Oak Tree Road/Washington Spring Road intersection. Parking is available in the main lot, with a $6 fee on weekends and holidays from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Limited parking is available, so arriving early is recommended.

While direct public transportation to the park is limited, you can take a bus to nearby Piermont and then walk or take a short taxi ride to the park. From Piermont, it's approximately a 1.5-mile walk to the park entrance. Taxi/ride-share from Piermont to the park entrance will cost approximately $10-$15.

If you are in Piermont, you can walk to Tallman Mountain State Park. Head south on Piermont Avenue, which turns into Route 9W. Continue south for approximately 1.5 miles to reach the park entrance. Be cautious of traffic along Route 9W.
