Start at the Greenwich Metro-North Station, located at 2 Railroad Ave, Greenwich, CT. Take the New Haven Line towards New Haven. Get off at the next stop, which is the Cos Cob Station. Once you arrive at Cos Cob Station, exit and walk southeast on E Putnam Ave (US-1) for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with River Rd. Turn left onto River Rd and walk for approximately 0.3 miles. You will then reach Babcock Preserve, which is situated off River Rd on the right side. The entrance to the Preserve is marked, and you can follow the trails once you enter.

If you have a bicycle, start at Greenwich Town Hall located at 101 Field Point Rd. From there, head east on Field Point Rd and take a right onto E Putnam Ave (US-1). Continue on E Putnam Ave for about 1 mile. Then, take a left onto River Rd and bike about 0.3 miles until you reach Babcock Preserve on your right. The Preserve features several biking and walking trails, making it a great destination for outdoor enthusiasts.
