From the center of Greenwich, head to the nearest bus stop at Greenwich Avenue. Take the CT Transit Bus Route 10 heading towards Stamford. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes, and get off at the Stamford Transportation Center. From there, transfer to the NJ Transit bus 156 towards New York City. Ride this bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the stop for American Dream, East Rutherford. Walk the short distance to 1 American Dream Way, where the DreamWorks Water Park is located.

Start by walking to the Greenwich Metro-North train station. Board a train on the New Haven Line towards Grand Central Terminal. Get off at Stamford station (about a 10-minute ride). Once at Stamford, exit the train and head to the nearby bus terminal. Take NJ Transit bus 156 towards New York City. After a ride of about 30 minutes, disembark at the stop for American Dream. Walk to 1 American Dream Way for the DreamWorks Water Park.

If you're up for a scenic ride, consider renting a bicycle. Start from the central area of Greenwich and head north towards the Merritt Parkway. Follow bike paths and local roads that lead towards Stamford. Once in Stamford, navigate towards the NJ Transit bus stop to catch the 156 bus to American Dream. This option will take longer, approximately 1.5 hours of biking plus the bus ride.

For the adventurous and fit, you could walk to the nearest train station in Stamford (about 1.5 miles). From there, board a train to Grand Central and switch to a bus bound for American Dream. However, this will take significantly longer and is not recommended for most tourists.
