Note that the lookout is only accessible from the northbound lane; those traveling southbound must find a suitable turnaround to access the northbound side.

    From the George Washington Bridge Bus Terminal in Manhattan, take the NJ Transit Bus #186 towards Englewood Cliffs. The bus ride takes approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the Rt-9W (Sylvan Ave) at Palisade Ave stop. From there, it is a 55-minute walk to the Rockefeller Lookout. The bus fare is approximately $3 - $5. Alternatively, from White Plains Metro-North train station, board the NJ Transit Bus #165 towards Englewood. Get off at the Englewood Cliffs stop, and walk north on Palisade Avenue for about 15 minutes.
