Train
From Greenwich, head to the Greenwich Train Station located at 2 Railroad Ave. Purchase a ticket to New York City, specifically a train heading to Grand Central Terminal. The journey takes approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central, follow the signs to the subway.
Subway
At Grand Central Terminal, take the 4, 5, 6, or S subway lines downtown to Union Square. If you take the 4 or 5, get off at 14th Street-Union Square, and if you take the 6, get off at 14th Street. Follow the signs to Union Square Park.
Walking
Once you exit the subway, you will be at Union Square. Look for the large park area which is surrounded by shops and restaurants. Union Square Park is located between 14th Street and 17th Street, and between Union Square East and Union Square West. You can stroll through the park and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere.
