From Yonkers, head to the Yonkers Metro-North train station located at 5 Station Plaza. Purchase a ticket for the Metro-North Railroad heading towards Grand Central Terminal. The train ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central Terminal, follow the signs to the 42nd Street exit.

After exiting Grand Central Terminal, walk to the 42nd Street-Bryant Park subway station. Take the B, D, F, or M train downtown towards Brooklyn. Get off at 34th Street-Herald Square station and transfer to the N, Q, R, or W train at the same station. Continue downtown and get off at 14th Street-Union Square station. Exit the station and walk north on Union Square West until you reach the Union Square Greenmarket at Union Square W & E 17th St.
