Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from Hartford, take I-91 South and exit at Exit 40 for CT-20 W toward Bradley International Airport. Continue on CT-20 W for about 6 miles, then merge onto I-84 W. Take exit 39 for CT-187 toward Simsbury. Continue on CT-187, which becomes Hartford Rd. Follow Hartford Rd for about 4 miles, and you will reach the intersection with E Weatogue St where the East Weatogue Historic District is located. Parking is available along Hartford Rd.

• Public Transportation

  To reach the East Weatogue Historic District by public transportation, take CTtransit Bus Route 128 from Hartford to Simsbury. The bus departs from the Hartford Union Station. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at the stop nearest to the intersection of Hartford Rd & E Weatogue St. From there, it's just a short walk to the historic district. Be sure to check the CTtransit schedule for exact times, and note that bus fare is required.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer biking, you can follow the Farmington River Trail from Hartford towards Simsbury. This scenic route will take you along the river and through beautiful landscapes. Once you reach Simsbury, navigate to Hartford Rd, and continue until you intersect with E Weatogue St. The East Weatogue Historic District will be on your right. Remember to wear a helmet and bring water!
