Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, you can reach Heublein Tower by following these directions. Start by getting on CT-9 N from your location in Hartford County. Continue on CT-9 N until you reach the exit for I-91 N toward Springfield. Merge onto I-91 N and then take exit 30 for CT-20 W toward Bradley Airport. Continue on CT-20 W and merge onto I-84 W via the exit on the left toward Waterbury. Take exit 39A to merge onto US-202 N toward Simsbury. Follow US-202 N to your destination. Look for signs indicating Talcott Mountain State Park. The tower is located at 1 Summit Drive, Simsbury, CT 06070. There is a parking area available at the park.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Heublein Tower via public transportation, you will first need to take a bus or train to Hartford. From Hartford, you can catch the CT Transit bus route 932, which heads toward Simsbury. Get off at the stop closest to the intersection of US-202 and Route 10. From there, you may need to walk approximately 1-2 miles to reach the entrance of Talcott Mountain State Park. Alternatively, consider using a rideshare service from the bus stop directly to Heublein Tower for convenience.   For those who enjoy biking or walking, Talcott Mountain State Park has trails that can be accessed from various points in Simsbury.
