    If you are driving from anywhere in Housatonic Valley, head towards Route 7. Follow Route 7 North until you reach the intersection with Route 128. Turn right onto Route 128 East, following the signs for Cornwall. Continue on Route 128 for approximately 5 miles until you reach West Cornwall. The West Cornwall Covered Bridge will be on your left, spanning the Housatonic River. There is parking available on the east side of the river, just south of the bridge.

    Public Transportation

    If you prefer to use public transportation, you can take the Metro-North Railroad from New York City to the nearby town of Wassaic. From Wassaic Station, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to the West Cornwall Covered Bridge, as public transit options to West Cornwall are limited. The taxi ride will take approximately 30 minutes and may cost around $40-$60, depending on traffic.

    Bicycle

    For those who enjoy cycling, you can bike to the West Cornwall Covered Bridge from nearby towns. If you're coming from Cornwall, take Route 128 East. The route is scenic, but be cautious of traffic. There are designated bike lanes in some areas, but not all.
