Car
If you are driving, take I-95 N or I-91 S to New Haven, CT. Use exit 47 for I-95 N toward New Haven. Merge onto I-95 N and keep left to stay on I-95 N. Take exit 47 toward CT-34 W. Continue on CT-34 W and follow the signs for Downtown New Haven. Once you reach downtown, turn onto High Street. Harkness Tower is located at 74 High St, New Haven, CT 06510. There may be parking available on the street or in nearby garages, but be sure to check for any parking fees.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, you can take a Metro-North train to New Haven. From New York City, take the New Haven Line to New Haven Station. Upon arrival, you can take the CT Transit bus # 228 or 229 towards Downtown New Haven. After a short ride, get off at the High Street stop. Harkness Tower will be within walking distance from the bus stop. Make sure to check the bus schedule for any fare costs, which typically range from $1.75 to $2.50.
Walking
If you are already in downtown New Haven, you can reach Harkness Tower by walking. From the New Haven Green or the New Haven Train Station, head east on Chapel Street until you reach High Street. Turn left onto High Street, and Harkness Tower will be on your left at 74 High St. The walk should take about 10-15 minutes.
