    From Meriden, head to the Meriden Transit Center located at 100 State Street. You can take the CT Transit bus number 1 towards New Haven. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes. Once you reach the New Haven Green, get off the bus. From there, walk south on Church Street for two blocks until you reach Whitney Avenue, then turn left. The New Haven Museum will be on your right at 114 Whitney Ave.

  • Train

    Make your way to the Meriden train station located at 60 State Street. Board a Metro-North train towards New Haven. The train ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at New Haven Union Station, exit the station and head towards the bus terminal. Take the CT Transit bus number 1 from the bus terminal towards New Haven. Get off at the stop near the New Haven Green. Walk south on Church Street for two blocks, then turn left onto Whitney Avenue. The New Haven Museum will be on your right at 114 Whitney Ave.

  • Walking

    If you're in the downtown area of Meriden, you can start your walk from the Meriden Green located at 15 State Street. Walk south on State Street until you reach the intersection with East Main Street. Turn right onto East Main Street and continue walking until you reach the Meriden train station. From there, you can catch a train to New Haven as described above, or continue walking on East Main Street, which will eventually turn into South Broad Street. Follow South Broad Street until you reach the New Haven area and then navigate to Whitney Avenue where the museum is located at 114 Whitney Ave.
