Public Transport

CT Transit provides bus service throughout the Greater New Haven area. Several bus routes stop near the intersection of Whitney Avenue and Trumbull Street, a short walk from Escape New Haven. Check the CT Transit website for schedules and route information. Single fares are around $1.75.

From I-91, take Exit 3 onto Trumbull Street. Turn right onto Whitney Avenue at the second light. Escape New Haven will be on your right. Limited metered street parking is available on Whitney Avenue and nearby streets. Parking: Metered street parking: $1.00 - $1.50 per hour, with a 2-hour maximum. Garages and lots: Several nearby garages and lots offer hourly and daily rates. The Yale OIS lot at 340 Edwards Street is free on nights and weekends.
